'A Time for Parishioners' - Course in the Irish College Rome - 18-23 September 2017

Dublin has been chosen by Pope Francis to host the next World Meeting of Families in August 2018. This major world event celebrates family as the cornerstone of our lives: the fundamental building block of society and the Church.

In preparation for this meeting, the Pontifical Irish College invites parishioners to come to Rome from 18th — 23rd September in order to reflect on the theme of "The Gospel of the Family, Joy for the World".

The seven days in Rome will include a series of talks and liturgies on the theme of the World Meeting along with guided visits to significant Churches and Basilicas, a day of spiritual recollection and reflection, a pilgrimage to an Italian shrine, along with an opportunity to attend a General Audience with Pope Francis.

The cost of the course is €700. Places are limited. A deposit of €300 is required to secure a place.

Travel arrangements to Rome are the responsibility of participants.

Airport transfers to the College are included in the above price.

Rooms are en-suite. Meals on a half board basis are included with an opening and closing dinner.

Those who wish to arrive early or remain following the conclusion of the course are welcome to do so, subject to the availability of rooms.

The course for priests takes place from 11th to 15th September and will also offer a variety of reflections in preparation for the World Meeting of Families next year.

If you wish to reserve a place, please telephone the Pontifical Irish College on the main office number at 00 39 06 772 631 or email
