Derry Diocesan
Vocations Council
The Derry Diocesan Vocations Council is
made up of married people, single people,
Religious and Priests.
Please continue to remember the priests
of the diocese in your prayers.
In this Year of Vocation in the
Catholic Church in Ireland we are also
asked to reflect, in a special way, on
our individual vocation in life and our
vocation in the life of the Church, which,
as baptised members, we express through
witness, love and service.

St Mary's, Creggan
Since 1959 the most generous and energetic people
of Creggan have forged a strong sense of community.
This has carried them through the harrowing years
of the 'troubles', most notably that grim week in
1972 when thirteen coffins filled the sanctuary of
St Mary's.
