The world offers you comfort. But you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness

An Introduction to the Day

On Sunday 17th October, St. Eugene's Cathedral Parish are organising A Day of Discernment which will be the first in a series of four days of reflection on the theme of Vocation.

In Sacred Scripture, when a prophet is called there normally follows a pattern of: The Call, The Doubt, The Reassurance and finally the Acceptance. This first day will focus specifically on God calling? How does he call? What does he call us to? How do we know God is calling us?

With the support and accompaniment of those who have experience in the practice of discernment, we will help participants identity the signs of God's call and allow them to respond with confidence and faith.
