National Veneration of a Relic of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

The national itinerary has been organised by the Knights of St Columbanus so that the relic of St Teresa of Calcutta can be venerated in the Dioceses of Ireland.

The first class relic of Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta will be present in the Derry Diocese as follows:

Thursday 15th June 2017 - Sacred Heart Church, Derry Road, Strabane. Welcome Ceremony and Veneration of the Relic at 5.00pm in the Sacred Heart Church on Thursday 15th June. Mass with Blessing at 7.30 pm with veneration continuing until 9.00pm.

Friday 16th June 2017 - St Eugene's Cathedral Derry. There will be a Ceremony of Welcome at 9.30am prior to the 10.00am Mass and then Veneration will take place after that until the end of the 7.30 pm Mass when there will be a Closing Ceremony at 8.00 pm.  

After this the relic will be brought to St Malachy's Church, Coleraine in the Diocese of Down and Connor.
