This Palm Sunday Bishop Michael Router, Auxiliary Bishop of Armagh, shares with us how Jesus experienced a rapid change of approval during Holy Week from his triumphant entrance into Jerusalem to cheering crowds who would later become a baying mob as he made his lonely and painful journey to the Cross.
He reflects upon how bringing the presence, the Word and the example of Christ into a less welcoming world can be lonely and painful too, but that the synodal journey demands we stay on the road together.
