TUTORIAL: How to use Zoom by the Diocese of Derry

The Zoom online meeting platform has become a very popular tool for parish meetings and gatherings. 

This tutorial is suitable those who have not yet used Zoom but might be hosting Zoom meetings in parishes in the future. It is also suitable for people who have used Zoom but would like to learn more about it.  

Presented by Tony Brennan, Pastoral Development Coordinator, Diocese of Derry. Using video and onscreen graphics, this one hour tutorial covers:
- Zoom function icons: Mute, Video, Chat, Screen sharing and more;
- tips on camera and light positioning and
- how to schedule a meeting;
- effective invitation management;
- an explanation of Breakout rooms and Polls;
- Virtual backgrounds; and
- an explanation of free and licence Zoom options.

The video also includes lively discussion with the tutorial participants, their experience of a breakout room, experimentation with Screen sharing and the Zoom background functions.
