Rediscover the Joy of Love - Marriage Encounter Weekend in Killarney- 17-19 November 2017

A Marriage Encounter Weekend offers married couples (of all age ranges) private time to rediscover the joy of their love. The next Residential Weekend will be from 17 to 19-Nov-2017 at The Lake Hotel, Killarney. 

Presented by three married couples and a priest, the Weekend is a residential workshop that offers married couples with a good relationship the opportunity to explore, renew and enrich what they already have going for them in a way that completely respects their privacy. 

It is very much about how spouses in the midst of the complex challenges of a busy everyday life can realise something of The Joy of Love that our Holy Father Pope Francis has set before us in his Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia. Catholic Marriage Encounter in Ireland is one of a number of marriage and family movements working with the Council for Marriage and the Family of The Irish Catholic Bishops' Conference and with the WMOF2018 Office in preparation for the World Meeting of Families in Dublin in 2018. 

In that regard, we welcome and support the 'Amoris Lets Talk Family' Programme that is planned to be rolled out across parishes throughout Ireland in the run up to WMOF2018.
