Parish Pastoral Councils - Day of Reflection

One of the purposes of a parish pastoral council is to form community as a sign and witness of unity for the larger parish and diocesan community. In order to grow as a community, council members need to develop a network of supportive relationships. Council members should model a living, caring community that witnesses the compassion of Jesus. This requires time beyond council meetings. A parish pastoral council day of reflection can help greatly in cementing relationships and allowing time for prayer and dialogue.

An opportunity to reflect on your role

Here in Termonbacca we are inviting parish pastoral council members to take an opportunity to do this on Saturday, 12th November 2022. The day will begin at 10:00am and conclude with Mass at 4:00pm. It will include time for group bonding, prayer and some talks followed by time for reflection and discussion. This is an opportunity for pastoral council members to reflect on their role within the Church and grow spiritually as an individual and also as a group.

A light lunch will be provided and the suggested donation for the day is £5 per head.
