Holy Week - Prayers, Projects and Activities at home


Bishop Donal encourages us to 'Walk with Jesus through Holy Week'.

As we are all confined to our homes at this time, Bishop Donal shares ideas and examples,  using items from around the home of how you can create your own Easter Garden, Good Friday Cross, pray the Rosary and engage online and on TV in all Holy Week ceremonies leading up to Easter Sunday.

Holy Week at Home - resources and ideas for you

The Derry Diocesan Catechetical Centre provides support for the development of Religious Education and Faith formation to schools, homes and parishes in the Diocese of Derry.

For Holy Week, the Centre has created a wide range to prayer, activities and projects for families, children, teenagers and individuals to participate in at home. Some of the resources are featured below.

These resources are created for young people especially those participating in the Pope John Paul II Award and youth leaders.

RTÉ, Shalom World, St Eugene's Cathedral and parishes throughout the Diocese will be broadcasting a wide range of services during Holy Week.
